Styling Guidance

Hey there! I am so glad you are here. Let's chat about wardrobe. I am here to help make figuring out what to wear for your photography session as stress free as possible. Included in your session price is styling guidance and access to our client closet, because what you are wearing really impacts the final look and outcome of our session!

First, let's talk colors. I always recommend neutral and earthy tones to my clients. These colors are most flattering, timeless, best represent my style, and work together beautifully with the way I edit your photos. An easy way to think about it is choose an earth toned color like forest green, or burnt orange/rust, and pair it with other neutrals.

For women, I always recommend flowy dresses (if you are comfortable in them of course) because of the movement they give off. Little moments like dancing with your toddler or swaying back and forth with your partner gives the dress some movement and life and makes for a stunning image.

For men, a great place to start is a nice pair of dark denim jeans or khaki pants, and a neutral colored top such as a cream button up or an olive green sweater, for instance.
